EIT Manufacturing South East is delighted to announce that the BoostUp! South East 2023 call is officially open!
BoostUp! South East 2023 is an exceptional opportunity for startups in the manufacturing industry to showcase their innovative ideas and solutions, and pitch them in front of a jury panel of independent experts, in the live Grand Final event, which will take place on 29th November at the Divani Palace Acropolis, in Athens, Greece.
The first step is for startups to submit their idea/solution here. Eligible companies are early stage and mature startups registered in one of the following countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Türkiye.
The call is seeking to award pioneering ideas related to the following key areas:
1. Simulation & Advanced Engineering Tools
2. Virtual/Augmented Reality based solutions for industrial applications
3. Logistics Technologies
1. Advanced Additive Manufacturing solutions
2. Predictive and Preventive Maintenance
3. Industrial Robotics
4. Connectivity and Internet of Things (IoT) Infrastructure
5. Advanced Sensors (Industrial IoT) & Drones, Industrial Cybersecurity
1. Data analytics/ Artificial Intelligence and Digital Twins
2. Environmental and Social Sustainability
After the submission and evaluation of the applications, 10 finalists will be shortlisted to pitch their idea at the Grand Final event on the 29th of November and among them 3 startups will win prestigious prizes (€7500 1st place, €5000 2nd place, €2500 3rd place).
All finalists will receive a “growth package” award from the EIT Manufacturing Business Creation team to help internationalize and scale up their businesses and support their European go-to-market strategy.
