Mr Pantelis Aggelidis is appointed as the President of the Board of Directors of Alexander Innovation Zone according to the Joint Ministerial Decision with the number 2459/23.06.2015(Government’s Newspaper).
Pantelis Aggelidis was born in Xanthi and is a Doctor of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is an Assistant Professor in Engineering IT and Telecommunications Department in the University of Western Macedonia. He has done Postgraduate Studies in the Managing Innovative Organizations in MIT Sloan. He has been a Visiting Researcher in MIT Media Lab and a Visiting Professor in the University of Barcelona Medical School. Among other researching activities in European Programms, he has been a coordinator in six trans – European projects and a participant in 37 trans – European and five national projects. As a businessman, he deals with digital health applications and telemedicine (with the company Vidavo, in which he is the founder and the main shareholder). He is also a writer, an inventor and he develops software applications with technological demands.
