Alexander Innovation Zone participates in the OK! Thess pre-incubator as the financial manager.
The evolution of Thessmart INNOHUB, an initiative of AIZ, was the pre-incubator OK!Thess. The OK!Thess pre-incubator is a wider collaborative structure with international support, that welcomes the ideas of young scientists-researchers who want to start their own businesses and then feeds the incubators operating in Alexander Innovation Zone with mature initiatives capable of seeking external funding.
In OK!Thess, along with Alexander Innovation Zone are participating the following stakeholders: the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the University of Macedonia, the International Hellenic University, the Association of Industries in Greece, the Exporters Association,the KEPA Business and Cultural Development Centre and the Association of Informatics Enterprises in Northern Greece aiming at creating a hub for the Innovation Ecosystem of Thessaloniki open to all institutions in the city. The action is exclusively funded by a donation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
