Thessaloniki, Pella, Florina and Kilkis, will have the opportunity to participate in a modern program to accelerate business ideas.
The program covers all stages of support for the development of a business idea, the meeting with investors and the participation in a competition with three prizes from 4,000-10,000 euros. Applications opened on Tuesday 30 March and will close respectively by region from 4 to 8 April.
Participants, that are either in the early stages of the idea or in a more advanced level, will have an exciting two-course experience where experienced presenters will guide them in developing a business plan with state-of-the-art tools to develop products that are attractive to the market and meet the conditions of investment readiness. They will also be introduced to the secrets of effectively presenting a business idea to investors (Pitch), in order to claim funding, from the international venture capital ecosystem (Venture Capitals).
Upon completion of the training the participants will be able to apply to the competition of the smart iCBA accelerator, the NEXT STAGE Challenge 2021, for one of three prizes worth from 4,000 to 10,000 euros, to give a practical boost to their idea. During the competition process they will receive personalized guidance for presenting their business model to investors and claim one of the prizes and / or potential funding.
The action is coordinated by organisations with many years of involvement and international experience in research and support of start-ups. More specifically, the project is coordinated by Alexander Innovation Zone, SEERC research center of CITY College, Thessaloniki ICT Business Park “Technopolis”, University of Science and Information Technology (UIST) “St. Paul the Apostle”, NCDIEL (National centre for development of innovation and entrepreneurial learning) and YES Foundation.
All residents of the following regional units have the right to participate. Thessaloniki, Pella, Florina or Kilkis.
