MIT Enterprise Forum Greece is proud to announce the 25 semifinalists selected to advance to the next round of the MITEF Greece Startup Competition.

MITEF Greece Startup Competition, which aims to contribute substantially to the dynamic development, quality improvement and promotion of Greek technological entrepreneurship is being carried out in Greece for the second time.

Among the 25 teams that proceed to the 3 month period of intensive mentoring, are two teams from Thessaoniki, namely Εlektronio Wheels, a cleantech handcrafted bicycle maker, ideal for smart urban mobility and  Event Reception with its pioneering all-in-one event software.

The program of the second phase starts February 2 and will continue until May 15, 2016

During the program, mentors from the Greek and international business and investment scene will guide the teams, while having the opportunity to participate for free in a series of educational workshops of business interest, such as: Perfect Pitch, Legal, Marketing & Communication, Development Strategies & finance, Tax and Human Resources.

At the end of 3-month program, the 10 winning teams will advance to the next and final phase.

Beyond the awards and cash and or/material prizes, the basic and fundamental benefit for the winners is international recognition. In particular, the winners will have the opportunity to showcase their work through MITEF Global, the international non-profit network dedicated to innovation and technological entrepreneurship.
