The research projects that, although of great theoretical readiness and potential to fill a gap in the market through an innovative application, remain purely as points of reference for future research, outnumber those which emerge to the commercial and corporate world. TECC – Technology, Entrepreneurship & Commercialization Cloud for Innovation is an intensive 3-day technology – focused workshop and bootcamp aiming at bridging research with commercialization and entrepreneurship.
More specifically, the goals of TECC are:
- to provide the workshop participants with a unique learning opportunity to help determine the commercial readiness of their technology,
- to acquaint participants with the lean business model canvas development methodology and
- to introduce participants to commercialization strategies alongside corporate partners or new ventures.
The target audience of TECC includes graduates (Master’s students) and junior researchers (PhD students, postdocs) interested in making their technology into the principle for a business plan around an innovative application, already in the framework of a working team focusing on application/product ideas, preferably with IP protection in place, or in progress.
