EIT UM RIS Hub GREECE is an opportunity for citizens to be informed and involved in more direct ways in solving the mobility issues facing cities.

Every citizen can participate in the actions of the EIT UM RIS Hub GREECE and contribute to the effort to upgrade the city through the use of sustainable modes of transportation but also by participating in actions and initiatives as well as in the design of political applications of innovative solutions.


A business dealing with mobility issues can through the EIT UM RIS Hub GREECE take advantage of entrepreneurship opportunities, receive financial support and participate in training and acceleration programs.

EIT UM RIS Hub GREECE is looking for new ideas and innovative solutions aimed at tackling critical sustainability issues. Through actions, conferences, events and seminars, startups are given the opportunity, and not only, to come into contact with important actors in the mobility sector and to collaborate with the aim of developing and improving businesses and urban centers.


With the support of Euroconsultants S.A. and of IMET/EKETA, through the EIT UM RIS Hub GREECE, each Municipality can be a co-creator of solutions for the problems of developing innovative ideas and offering networking opportunities with important bodies supporting sustainable mobility.

The EIT Urban Mobility Regional Innovation Scheme Hub Greece is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union, with the aim of improving urban mobility through the development of innovative products and services.

EIT UM RIS Hub GREECE aims to build the local and national urban mobility ecosystem around the common goal of creating a sustainable urban environment through:

  • The practical adoption of new mobility solutions

  • The participation of cities and citizens in relevant actions

  • The recovery of spaces for public use

EIT UM RIS Hub GREECE is a point of contact and interconnection of the local mobility ecosystem with EIT Urban Mobility and aims to shape the conditions for the collaborative development of solutions in urban mobility but also to mobilize the general public to contribute to the development of sustainable mobility of cities.
